Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme Rural Eligibility (PMAY-G Eligibility)

The Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme Rural (PMAY-G) was constituted on 1 April 2016 by the Government of India with a view to cater to the need of rural housing and especially to solve the housing problem of the poor. The main objective of this scheme is to provide pucca houses with basic facilities to all homeless families and families living in ravaged and torn apart houses by the year 2022. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, PMAY App i.e. AwaasApp has been created which belongs to the government, through this you can search your name in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana list. If your name has been included in the list, the work of building a house should begin. So all the processes will be tracked with this AwaasApp and this will inspect the construction of your house. Determination and selection of beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin (PMAY-G):
In order to fulfill the goal of PMAY-G, it is absolutely necessary to have fairness and transparency in the selection of beneficiaries. In order to ensure that the benefits of this scheme are really met to the needy, the Government of India has decided to use the parameters indicating housing shortage in the SECC 2011 data for the selection of beneficiaries so that they can provide these facilities Necessary to reach the dull without any problem.

Scope of Eligible Beneficieries:

People with BPL list were not covered under the Eligible Beneficieries under PMAY-G. Rather, all homeless families in place of the BPL list as per the data of SECC 2011 and those residing in homes with zero, one or two rooms with mud walls and / or mud ceilings subject to the exclusion process indicated in Annexure-I. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural Eligibility (PMAY-G Eligibility):

If a lot of families fall into this category, then who will be given the facility first and who will not decide that your Gram Panchayat / Council will take into consideration some of the following things and after that PMAY-G will verify it.

According to SECC 2011 data, priority will be given to all homeless families and families residing in homes with zero, one or two rooms of mud walls and / or mud ceilings subject to the exclusion process indicated in Annexure-I.
Shelterless families, homeless / beggars, manual scavengers.
Families with relatively less room will be given priority over those living in more rooms.
If both the above points are the same then it will be seen that in which house there is no adult between 16-59 years of age and that family will be given priority.
A family of women heads with no adult members between the ages of 16-59.
Families that do not have any adult members over 25 years of age.
Families whose members are casual or whose adult members are not physically competent.
Daily wage families who do not have any land. Bonded laborers legally freed.
If it is difficult to decide between two families, who should be given priority and whom not, then some of the following things will be taken care of.

Widows and close family of corrected soldiers / police personnel.
Families whose members are suffering from leprosy or cancer or have HIV infection.
Families with single daughter
Forest dwellers, primitive tribal groups.

Exclusion process:

If your situation matches any of the following conditions, then you cannot be eligible for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural, you will be excluded from its eligibility.

1.Families living in pucca houses will be excluded from this scheme.
2.Families owning any type of vehicle 2/3/4 wheeler or fishing boat will also not be included in this scheme.
3.What type of agricultural equipment or machine can not avail this scheme.
4.Families holding Kisan credit cards of Rs 50,000 or more can not apply.
5.Families whose members are government employees are not eligible for this.
6.Families with non-agricultural enterprises registered with the government will also not be included in this.
7.Families whose members earn more than Rs 10,000 cannot also avail of this scheme.
8.Families paying income tax / business tax also cannot avail this scheme.
9.Families with refrigerators / land lines also cannot take advantage of this.
10.Families that have 2.5 acres or more of irrigated land and at least one irrigation equipment cannot participate in it.
