How to receive money from BHIM App

The Bhima app is based on the Unified Payment Interface (UPI). Through this app, we can easily transfer money from one bank account to another bank by using mobile number or Aadhaar number. The goal of this app is to boost e-payments and cashless transactions. BHIM App (BHIM-Bharat Interface for Money) is a mobile app launched by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), a government of India initiative for money transactions.

The biggest feature of Bhima App is that through this app we can also ask for money from anyone through the Receive option present in it.

So let’s see how to collect money from BHIM App:

step 1:
First of all, you log in by applying. On login, you will see three options under Transfer Money Send, Receive and Sacn and Pay, if you have not installed BHIM App yet, click on this link

Step 2:
To collect money you have to click the Receive option. Clicking in the Receive option will initiate your request transaction.

Step 3:
After initiate the request transaction, you will have three options Mobile / Payment Address / Aadhaar You can fill the details of any one of these three. When you fill in the details, you will see the option to verify. You have to click on verify.

 

Step 4:
After clicking verify, you will be shown the name of the person whose Mobile / Payment Address / Aadhaar details you have filled. After verifying it, you can enter the amount and give comments and click on the Request option.

Step 5:
After clicking on the request option, your request will be sent and you will also see the confirmation message.

Step 6:
When the person who has sent your request will accept your request then you will get a notification.

You can also collect money by generating a QR code. Let’s see how:

step 1:
After logging into the Bhima app, you will see three points in the top right corner on the home page. Clicking it will show you many options. One of them will also be Generate QR Code, click it.

Step 2:
After clicking in Generate QR Code, you will be given the option to fill amount and comments in the page that opens. After filling it, click below in the GENERATE QR CODE.

Step 3:

After that your QR code will be generated, which you can also speak MY QR, below this you will see the option of Share and Download. So you can use it according to your convenience.
